a month agoMany teenagers and young people in Sardarapat aspire to learn programming, robotics, 3D modeling, and explore various modern technologies within their own community. Unfortunately, the people of Sardarapat still lack the opportunity and a dedicated space for such informal education. Deprived of this educational environment, children veer away from realizing their dreams, hindering the formation of a stable and progressive professional and personal path.
"Armath" engineering laboratories, implemented by the Union of Advanced Technologies Enterprises, can bring the youth of Sardarapat closer to their goals. Just as students who studied at "Armath" engage in innovation and business project development in their communities from an early age, we aspire to have a center providing innovative education in our Sardarapat community.
With the opening of the "Armath" laboratory, the youth of Sardarapat, aged 10 to 18, will have tremendous opportunities. They can utilize their talents for the benefit of the community and the state, turning the dream of many to receive technological education into reality.
In the 2022-2023 school year at Sardarapat secondary school, 705 students studied, with 350 focusing on STEM subjects. For the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year, it is predicted that 739 students will attend the school, with 400 studying STEM subjects. This research underscores children's interest in STEM subjects and the necessity for "Armath" in the community to meet this demand.
Youth has rallied around "Armath" in Sardarapat, investing considerable energy and effort to transform the community into one of RA's techno centers. Let's introduce our team members.
Our team's goal is to deliver accessible engineering education by:
Sardarapat village (population: 6,350) is situated in the enlarged community of Armavir (population: 62,231), hosting 10 secondary, 7 primary, and 2 high schools. Unfortunately, not all of these schools provide environments and conditions conducive to personal development in the modern world. Establishing an "Armath" engineering laboratory in the Sardarapat secondary school will address the technical education needs of students in the enlarged community who seek engineering education, making it free and accessible.
“Armath’s” mission is to empower the younger generation with skills and a mindset for the economy of the future by fostering and unlocking engineering and creative talents.
In “Armath” Engineering Laboratories, children aged 10-18 are introduced to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education through interactive after-school classes, exciting competitions, innovative camps, and more.
